There are countless resources online for spiritual growth. This site was just released today that really takes the features developed in the emerging web world and applies them to better sharing of knowledge about God. Its called eBible. Take the tour, I’m really digging it.
Okay everybody is asking what did you decide to give up?
It’s going to be a mashup. There are so many issues I have: beerz, coffee, tv, etc. So I decided to reduce my indulgences down a level instead of picking just one. Here we go:
1. beer - one night a week (preferrably a mon or wed since those are good night at the saucer)
2. coffee - stop cold turkey
3. sweet - stop cold turkey
4. TV - three shows ( OC, The Office, and NCAA tournament)
now that will take some will power to stop watching my stories but I believe those shows will only consume 2 hrs a week until march madness.
I feel confident. I think God will be happy. As far as Gary Glitter being on my backside after I loose weight. I’ll hope and pray I can run faster than him when he creeps up on me this weekend.
